| World Records in Sound and Music |
World Records In Sound And Music™ is dedicated to the measuring of sonic events that explore the boundaries of the possible. World records in the realm of sound and music can be set, achieved and outperformed. It is the idea of WSM to introduce new categories of peak performances that will relate to contemporary sound phenomena. The precondition for setting a record is that its deciding parameters can be measured and displayed clearly.
The record attempts will be accredited in a notarial act and officially honored by WSM. Additionally every successful attempt of setting a world record will find its way onto the glorious WSM video stage that at any time will be at public display.
On the 4th of October 2008 Thom Kubli will perform the
first world record in the category Longest Guitar Solo
Ever Played.
